Entries
Flood in for the Face of 2008

Wellington
Square has launched its model search competition
this week, with entries flooding in over the first
few days, and still a couple of weeks to go for
budding models to become the Face of Wellington
Square 2008. The winner receives a modelling
contract with AM Model Agency, a photo portfolio
worth £250 and £1,000 to spend at Wellington
Square Shopping Centre.
Working
with TFM Radio’s promotions team, the
competition invites 18-25 year old young ladies to
send in a photo in the first instance. Entries
will be whittled down to 30 hopefuls, who will be
invited for interview, with just ten finalists
going through to the big event at Wellington
Square on Saturday 7th June.
Finalists
will take part in a fashion show on a catwalk set
up in the central Square at
Wellington
Square
,
with three changes of outfit from the centre’s
fashion retailers, hair by SuperCuts, make-up by
Debenhams, and they will be interviewed by TFM’s
Wayne Allen.
Wellington
Square centre manager Rob Gildersleeve said: “We
are looking for a model to use in all our
advertising, who represents the sort of shopping
centre we are, and has a fresh and exciting look,
as well as a good personality. She’ll be the
Face of Wellington Square for a year.”
Wayne
Allen said, “We’ve had a great start to the
promotion, with some excellent candidates. It’s
going to very hard to choose the 30 potential
finalists, never mind getting down to just one
winner in the final. The standard is very high.”
If
anyone is interested in taking part, entry forms
are available at retailers in Wellington Square
Shopping Centre, or visit www.tfmradio.com.
Retailers taking part are Debenhams, River island,
Marks & Spencer, New Look, Bay Trading,
H&M, Officers Club, TopShop and SuperCuts.
