A second dance launch party gives you the chance to try on and pick the perfect prom attire, from suits to dresses and everything in between. Pay what you feel and look amazing!

Wellington Square Management Centre is a prom donation drop off point from Mon-Sat 9am-12pm.

Hearts & Crafts
Unleash your creativity at our craft stations, where you can make heartfelt keepsakes for someone special. Whether it’s a card, a decoration, or a unique piece of art, we’ve got all the materials you need to craft something truly one-of-a-kind.

Caricaturist
Ever wanted to see yourself in a quirky cartoon? Sit with our talented caricature artist, who will be sketching live portraits of couples, families, and friends. Take home a fun memento to treasure forever!

Lock in Your Love
Seal your love with a padlock on our giant love heart! Pick up a lock, sign it and leave a lasting symbol of your bond. It’s the perfect photo op to share your love story with the world.

So, mark your calendar and come down to Wellington Square on February 8th. Find us opposite Superdrug, next door to Katie’s Kards. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

That’s why we’re hosting ‘Warm Hearts, Warm Hands’, a special initiative to support those in need with free clothing, toiletries, hot food, and drinks.

Here’s how you can get involved and make a difference.

Collecting Donations

To make this event a success, we’re calling on our amazing community to donate items that can help bring comfort and warmth to someone in need. We’re looking for:

• Winter clothing (coats, hats, scarves, gloves, etc.)
• Toiletries (shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, etc.)
• Other essentials that could brighten someone’s day.

Donation Details:

Drop off your donations at the Wellington Square management office (opposite Finishing Touches). You can also hand them to any member of our Wellington Square staff.

Donations must be made by Monday 21^st January to ensure everything is ready for the big day.

The Main Event:

Join us at Wellington Square on Wednesday, 22nd January for the Warm Hearts, Warm Hands event! It’s a day to bring our community together and share a little love and warmth.

Here’s what’s happening:

• Free Clothing & Toiletries: Collected donations will be distributed to those in need
• Hot Food & Drinks: Enjoy something warm and comforting to eat and drink.
• Information Stands: Learn about local services and resources that can offer further support.

Whether you’re in need, know someone who could benefit, or just want to stop by and show your support, everyone is welcome. Together, we can make a real difference and ensure no one feels left out in the cold.

You are invited to come along and get your craft on with us on Saturdays in December with free Christmas craft workshops and festive face painting!

From cards to crackers and garlands to gingerbread men, there will be plenty of fun Christmas crafts for little ones to get creative.

Local choirs and bands will also be joining us in the run up to Christmas:

• Saturday 7^th December – One Voice Choir, 11am to 12pm
• Saturday 14^th December – Billingham Community Choir, 12pm to 1pm
• Saturday 21^st December – Billingham Silver Band, 10am to 12pm

Plus we have the popular return of Elton Wrong on Saturday 21^st December to get you in the festive mood and Step Into Christmas!  

This time the exhibition has an festive-theme and is focusing on wellbeing as we transition into Christmas.  The event brings together over 20 service providers dedicated to supporting mental and physical wellbeing in our community.

We are proud to be partnering with the Pioneering Care Partnership (PCP) and the Stockton-on-Tees Community Wellbeing Champions to bring you the next event in the ‘Wellington Wellness’ series.

Event: Wellington Wellness ‘Tis the Season’

‘Wellington Wellness’ is an exhibition that gathers community groups and service providers from across Teesside to showcase the vital support they offer to the residents of Stockton-on-Tees and surrounding areas.

This event will be a hub for discovering a wide range of organisations providing valuable resources, advice, and support for mental health, physical wellbeing, and seasonal self-care.

Whether you’re seeking information, guidance, or simply looking to connect with others in the community, this event is for you. Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with your community, explore the resources available to you, and embrace the season of wellbeing.

We’ve teamed up with Teesside Mind and their wonderful ‘Creative Friends Of’ group, who will be on hand to chat about mental health, share valuable information, and get crafty with a fun workshop.

Whether you’re interested in learning more about mental wellbeing or just looking for a relaxing and inspiring space, there’s something for everyone.

Pop in, get involved, and leave with some newfound inspiration (and maybe a handmade craft or two)!

Saturdays will see lots of fun for the whole family with free creative crafts and exciting gaming activities! Plus, get your face painted too!

Gaming Galore!
Experience the ultimate gaming adventure on the Gamezone Bus! This state-of-the-art mobile gaming van accommodates up to 10 players simultaneously, featuring stadium-style seating with TVs, PS5s, Xboxes, and a Nintendo Switch. Enjoy over 50 of the latest games, whether you prefer to play solo or compete with friends!

Entry to the Gamezone Bus is free and no booking is required, but please note that due to the 10-player limit, there may be a waiting period.

Unleash your creativity this summer with our free craft sessions! Dive into activities like sand art, sun catchers, and magic painting.

Additionally, contribute to our community tapestry project! Join us for the fun and let your creativity shine!

Face Painting
Transform into your favourite character with our free face-painting sessions this summer! Our talented artists will create stunning designs to bring your imagination to life.

Taking place across Stockton town centre on Saturday 27th July from 11am, the event will see three venues come together to celebrate Pride with an array of rainbow fun for all ages.

Presented by arts charity Curious Arts, in partnership with Wellington Square Shopping Centre, ARC Stockton, and Stockton Globe, Stockton Pop-Up Pride will once again celebrate the Tees Valley’s LGBTQIA+ community through a variety of free and low-cost activities.

Wellington Square will spring to life with the Pop-Up Pride stage! Join host Mimi and acts such as SYSTEMIC, Tiny Temper and many more as they light up the stage with their incredible talent. The Pride market makes a welcome return where visitors can meet and support local services and businesses.

Then join us for a vibrant and interactive experience where you can help turn an ordinary window into a stunning colorful canvas. Plus keep an eye out for some incredible street performers take to the mall!

ARC Stockton will be hosting a Family Arts Zone and Quiet Pride where visitors of all ages can express their creativity through arts and crafts. Curious Arts’ Young Producers group will be holding creative workshops and a Pride cabaret and LGBTQIA+ Film Screenings will be held throughout the day.

Plus ARC will be hosting ‘Time to Talk’ a safe space for members of the trans, non-binary and gender non-conforming communities to chat over a cuppa.

Whilst Stockton Globe hosts free Choir and Drag King workshops for anyone wanting to sing-along or take to the stage. Pride Live then takes over at The Link with incredible local musicians and performers, live DJ sets and Open Mic.

With arts and crafts, creative workshops, live music and pop-up performances, there’s plenty to get involved in at Stockton Pop-Up Pride this July!

Stockton Pop-Up Pride is supported by Tees Valley Combined Authority, National Lottery Awards for All, Stockton Borough Council, Northstar Housing, Stockton BID, Tees Million, Arts Council England, Teesside University, Foster with North East, UNISON Northern.

The exhibition will be a place for people to explore a diverse range of organisations offering valuable resources, advice, and support for mental health and wellbeing.

Whether you’re seeking information, guidance, or simply looking to connect with others in the community, this event is for you.  Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with your community and discover the support available to you.

We will also have plenty of fun activities for the whole family including face painting, balloon modelling, writing for wellbeing, Knock out Depression boxing coaching, and even a trishaw bike called Trixie!

This is the second ‘Wellington Wellness’ exhibition and a further two events are planned later in the year as follows:

Event: ‘Tis the season to care
Date: 4th December
Time: 10am until 2pm

Taking place on Wednesday 5th June from 10am to 2pm, there will be a wide range of Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise organisations in attendance.

Around 15 VCSE organisations will be there on the day, promoting volunteering opportunities and spreading the word about the wonderful work they do.

Volunteering is not only a great way be an active member of the community and support others but also has many benefits for volunteers themselves including a way to meet new people, develop new skills or work towards a career change.
