Our Young Stars have been battling it out at the National Market Traders Federation.
This month, the search for the next generation of business talent is underway! As part of the prestigious National Market Traders Federation (NMTF) Young Trader of the Year competition, young entrepreneurs with big ideas took to the stalls in Billingham, Stockton, and Thornaby.
Hosted by Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council, the Bright Minds Big Futures youth movement, and the NMTF, these heats saw our local markets buzzing with fresh energy. Our traders were put to the test, with a panel of judges scoring them on everything from product quality and stall aesthetics to their promotion skills and customer service.
The winner and runner-up of this heat are going through to the North East regional final in Newcastle on Saturday, 24 July.
Come along, show your support for our homegrown talent, and see if one of our own can take home the regional title!
