Quiet Hours

has launched quiet hours across the shopping centre to create a more inclusive shopping experience for customers with autism and/or sensory impairments.

These quiet hours take place every Friday and Saturday from 3pm to 5pm.

To create a more relaxing shopping experience, the music on the mall will be turned off and unless an emergency arises, no tannoy announcements will be made.

Wellington Square Management, Security and Housekeeping staff have also undergone autism awareness training to help customers shop in a more accessible environment and feel safe.

We have worked alongside Daisy Chain to provide an autism-friendly guide showcasing the shopping experience before visiting which includes a list of stores, how to get to Wellington Square and how to ask for help.
